Yuri assists clients from different industrial and technological sectors in protecting their Intellectual Property, with special emphasis on complex IP litigation. He has more than 15 years of experience in the area of ​​Intellectual Property and his expertise includes strategic consultancy for national and international clients in cases related to trademarks, patents, advertising, copyright and unfair competition practices.

He has litigated a wide range of complex IP cases before Brazilian federal and state courts and also has experience with IP licensing agreements, anti-counterfeiting measures, and domain name disputes, including IP Dispute Resolution Policy procedures. Domain Names (UDRP) and the Administrative System for Internet Conflicts relating to domain names under ".br" (Saci-Adm).

Yuri received his Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and obtained an LL.M. in IP Law from The George Washington University (Washington D.C.) in 2019.

He is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA) and has been appointed Chairman of the Committee on International Trademark Treaties for the Year 2024-2025. Yuri is also an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Internet Committee.
