
Clarissa Jaegger, lawyer and partner at Montaury Pimenta Machado & Vieira de Mello, has been practicing Intellectual Property since joining the firm in 2001. Clarissa manages the trademark portfolio of several large clients in a wide variety of fields such as cosmetics, pharmaceutical, healthcare, entertainment, telecommunication, technology, automobiles, finance, retail and other service businesses. Clarissa is the coordinator of the Trademarks Committee of the ABPI (Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property) and a member of the Argentinian Association of Industrial Property Agents, with the aim of protecting client interests in Argentina and to improve the trade relations between two of the most important economies in South America. Claudia is a lawyer and an industrial property agent, practicing since 1991. She leads the Foreign Relations Department team at the firm. Her practice focuses on providing strategic advice to clients regarding the protection, maintenance, and management of IP portfolios in other jurisdictions.
She actively participates in numerous IP associations, such as INTA (International Trademark Association) and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property). Claudia is a member of INTA’s Geographical Indications Committee and serves on AIPPI’s Industrial Design and Membership Committees. Additionally, within AIPPI, she acts as the Brazilian delegate for the national group of ABPI (Brazilian IP Association).
At the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association – ABPI, Claudia is one of the coordinators of the Geographical Indications Committee and serves as a panelist at the Domain Name Dispute Resolution Center.

Cristiane Manzueto is a lawyer and partner at the firm, with over 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property. Her work includes developing strategies, managing various assets involving trademarks, patents, trade secrets, software, copyrights, industrial designs, and trade dress. She also works on anti-counterfeiting cases, lawsuits at state and federal levels, as well as complex contracts related to Intellectual Property, technology, copyrights, and franchising.
