Brazilian Authorities Announce Investments to Reduce Patent and Trademark Registration Backlog in Brazil

To reduce the backlog in obtaining trademark and patent registrations in Brazil, brazilian authorities announced in March 25th, an investment of R$ 90 million Reais in information technology (IT) and the modernization of the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (BPTO) systems.
