Brazilian PTO launches phase IV of the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) program

On December 27, 2022, the Brazilian Patent Office (BPTO) published Ordinance no. 78 which aims at establishing Phase IV of the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) program in Brazil.

Phase IV came into force on January 01, 2023, and modifies some rules related to the former Phase III.
